The roadmap for the first release version of J-EAI expect beta testing to start at the end of september 2004.

This first version will include:

  • Packaging of components into a "single products": Ejabberd and OpenAdaptor are bundled together.
  • Jabber Sinks: Two types of OpenAdaptor sink are provided for a finer integration: JabberMessageSink and JabberPubsubSink.
  • Administration console: The administration console allows rosters management, to simplify applications accounts in management in J-EAI. Message traceability has been implemented: It is now possible to see when a message has been delivered and what messages are kept in message queue.
  • User/Application console: A dedicated console has been developped to allow application responsible to manage their own account information, to manage their pubsub subscription, to track know applications (application that the user / application is allowed to communicate with).
  • and more feature that we are still discussing the inclusion or not in the first release.
