A new beta version of J-EAI (beta 4) has been released.

This version fixes several minor bugs (Most notably messages sent from the web interface are now properly logged).

Regarding the documentation, note that much more information are publish regarding the use of J-EAI, but the documentation still lag behind the overall feature set of the tool.

J-EAI 1.0 offers an extensive publish and subscribe implementation with a good compliance with JEP 0060:

  • J-EAI proposes publish and subscribe node configuration.
  • It is possible to define persistant node or not, and the number of items to persist.
  • It is also possible to define various notification parameters, such as the delivery of the payload with the notifications, the notification of subscribers when some changes occurs on items, the items the maximum size of the payload, the subscription approvers, the notification of online users only, etc.
  • Publishing items to pubsub nodes is possible directly from the Web interface.

J-EAI is an Open Source XMPP-based Enterprise Application Integration platform.

This platform is composed of several currently working components:

  • The core is composed of a robust and scalable XMPP server ejabberd. Connectors are handled with two different approaches: Open Adaptor and XSLT. Several distribution mechanisms are handled: Buster algorithm can be optionnaly used to enhanced publish & subscribe feature.

The project is now looking for new users and developers. You can send an email to contact A_T erlang-fr.org for questions or information requests.
