Joe Armstrong presents his doctoral thesis on friday, the 5th December 2003 in Stockholm.

The text of the thesis is also available online and is really worth reading. It presents his work on Erlang, with many real life examples and case studies. It really helps explaining why Erlang has been designed this way and why what Erlang offers cannot easily be implemented with other approaches.

I strongly recommend it.
